The Perfect Way
to start my new blog! My super talented aunt Lila owns a store here called Color Me Mine. She is an amazing seamstress, artist, decorator, mother, and wife! I really admire and look up to her.
She is always inspiring me to be more creative.
I recently ordered some Made To Match plates from her. I am in the process of making some new pillows for my couches and thought some of her plates would be the perfect addition for my decor. I think they turned out beautifully! I cried with excitement when I opened the bag. The bright, vivid colors and amazing artwork are just what this room needed.
I still have a matching platter that I need to pick up so check back next week for more pictures. I will
be offering some of Lila's hand painted pieces on my blog in the near future and some of her stunning purses as well!

Wow! Those are awesome!! She is so very talented! I want an aunt like her.

i'm so in awe of your talented aunt lila even though i don't know her at all!! lol i walked a little slower past the purse section the other day and even my hubby said, "if you're getting another purse, it's going to be from that lady, so stop looking!" even he loves aunt lila!! =)

Thanks everyone! My "aunt" is more a friend than anything. I love her too!!! I will definately have more things from her to share with you in the future. I just can't get enough:)

These plates are yummy! I keep thinking I need to stop at Color Me Mine in Santa Monica and make some new coffee mugs...now I need to plan a date and do it! We had a similar place in Vermont and it was so much fun. I could spend a fortune making myself dishes!!! :o)
