In The Garden...



I just listed this sweet little 2 piece set in my Etsy Shop. I am going
to try and list something new there every week and a half.
In my Etsy shop you can expect to find simple pieces and sets
at great prices and you can usually expect your purchase
to arrive in 2 weeks or less. Check back on Wednesday

Decisions, Decisions...

Have you seen all the new fabrics coming out? I am kind
of freaking out because I don't know what to order for my
Pink Fig fabric stores on Etsy and Ebay.  I need your help
to decide, so leave a comment here and tell me what your
favorite lines are and I will enter you in a drawing for a 2
yard surprise sample pack from Sandi Henderson's new line
Ginger Blossom. Join my Pink Fig Mailing List and you will get

I have sold out of over half of my Ginger Blossom Stock so I

ETSY stores.The fabric is a little cheaper on Etsy,
just FYI. Join my Pink Fig Mailing list ( on the left side
of this blog at the bottom) to be notified of new listings
and for monthly specials. I have 2 mailing lists so make
sure you get on the right one.

Sandi did such a Fabulous job with this fabric
line. It's so fresh and fun for Spring!!!

I had a little get together at my house the other night
and my friends went crazy over these sugar cookies!
To be honest, it was not my recipe. I got it from a good
friend of mine from my child hood. We hadn't seen each
other in awhile and when she and her family came to dinner
they brought these. I think I ate 10 cookies that night! 

When I got the recipe from her I thought it was weird because
it had sour cream in it, but I'm now convinced that that is the
secret ingredient that makes these cookies out of this world!
They are sooo Soft and sooo Yummy! Now I know they don't
look fancy, (I'm not the best cookie decorator), but believe
me they are amazing! Since they were such a big hit at my
party, I thought I would share them with you:) 

Sugar Cookies:
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup of sour cream
1/2 cup of butter
3 1/4 cup of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of salt
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 mintues.

Frosting:
1/2 of a package of powdered sugar
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of butter
1/2 tsp of vanilla

SnOwEd IN    

  We had a major snow storm last weekend. With all the snow and the wind that was blowing we had these massive snow drifts every where. They even canceled Church!!!
That almost never happens. While we normally use Sunday's to rest and relax after church is over,
my husband and the kids just couldn't resist all that fluffy stuff. So they suited up and went out to play!

Here are some pictures of the kids being tossed by their dad.

Okay, Okay....I'll let you see a picture of me too.
But don't laugh at the neon coat, It was given to me.
Who could miss me in that thing? Geesh!

I hope your winter has been fun and not as cold as ours:)
